Ink/Doctoring
cups (PDF 1MB) The assertion that ceramic rings are better than
hard metal is demonstrably not correct.
The sintered hard metal doctor rings which have been successfully used by TAMPOPRINT®
AG for 20 years – more than 100.000 units were sold
worldwide – are unbeatable compared to ceramic.<press

Z-belt |
Plasma pre-treatment |
A Siemens touchscreen display enables user guidance to be simplified using diagrams and images. It also includes the option of displaying other languages, e.g. Mandarin. |
A Z-belt, the angle and height of which can be adjusted, allows the printed caps to be filled in cardboard boxes in combination with a switchover. This process involves filling two cardboard boxes in turn. |
In place of the gas pre-treatment used as standard, plasma pre-treatment can be installed to make for better pre-treatment of the cap surface and improved bonding of the ink. |

Octabin emptying |
Cardboard box roller belt |
After the final drying, the printed caps can be fed to a special fixture for the octabin filling. Switching between filling the two octabins is undertaken automatically by the printing machine control. The precise design of this option is produced in collaboration with the customer. |
The supply tank of the ascending conveyor can be filled directly from the octabins on request. In this process one or two octabins are placed on a base plate and then raised and tilted using a machine.
The precise design of this option is produced in collaboration with the customer. |
When filling cardboard boxes, a roller belt can be fitted as an option for feeding and transporting the cardboard boxes.
The customer is free to select the length and shape of the belt. The precise design is produced in collaboration with the customer. On request, a vibrating plate can be fitted in or downstream of the filling station. |

Camera monitoring |
The caps are aligned using gravity alone. The parts are fed in a very gentle way. This requires no compressed air, does not involve swirling dust which causes impurities, produces no material abrasion, does not require a process changeover when changing the cap colour and does not damage the tear-off ring. |
