TAMPOPRINT AG HQ, Germany employs more than 170 qualified members of staff.
The company is owned by Mr Wilfried Philipp, the father of industrial pad printing and the inventor of the world's first pad printing machine.

Mr Wilfried Philipp has submitted and been granted more than 160 patents since 1956.

"The father of pad printing" Mr Wilfried Philipp celebrates his 80th birthday in 2008.

The "TAMPOPRINT®" registered trademark and trade name is synonymous with precision special mechanical engineering "Made in Germany".

Another product group is the "ALFALAS®" trademark and trade name (registered trademark/trade name of TAMPOPRINT® AG) which has been successfully launched with laser systems for marking and decorating surfaces.
